Eighteen year old Gray McAllister is on the run. Leaving her dangerous past behind her is easier said than done, even when she finds herself at last able to forge a new life.
But then the planets align and Gray finds herself bumping into super-hot Thane Blackwell. Drooling over him from afar is safe but that's only until she is forced to look after Thane while he recovers from surgery.
Being holed up in her apartment is a bad, bad idea. Can Gray control the fire that Thane seems to light inside her, or will she give in to her deepest desires. Can Thane achieve his goal without hurting Gray in the process?
The stakes are impossibly high, but love and lies don't play nice with each other. Will Gray's past catch up with her first? Or will Thane's own secrets explode and tear them apart?

Review
One of my favorite things about this book is the shifting perspectives. At some moments, the story is told from gray, and others it is told from Thane. This alternating perspective really gave some much needed insight into the characters and the overall story line. Another thing I loved.... the characters!
Gray is one of those characters that is equally as strong as she is shy and timid. Thrown into a bad situation because of her family, Gray soon catches the eye of the U.S. Government. Thinking she is connected to the Russian Mob, this story is breathtakingly real. Gray discovered some of the hidden horrors within her stay with the mob, and this set her on the run. Determined to trust no one, Gray does end up falling under Thane's spell.
Thane. Thane is so many amazing things. Even with Thane having to hide some of his personal details, I really thought his character was very honest. Some of the things that Thane goes through for Gray really showed the depths of his feelings. I think some of my favorite parts of the book were from Thane's perspective. His voice was just so different and distinct from Gray's that it offered a unique twist on the story.
Just as a warning:
Some parts of this book were very dark. And by dark I mean they touched on some subjects that aren't in every New Adult story. This definitely isn't for those looking for a light read. Yet I loved that this book took notice of such issues. It brought a realistic element to the whole "mob" theme.
Overall this book was a really good read. Characters were great and their interactions were amazing to read. I think this is the perfect book for those who are a fan of Rachel Van Dyken or any other mob-like series. The only thing I really had a problem with is that at some parts the book got a little slow. But otherwise, Beautiful Collision is a good read.
