My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved this book because of Anna, she was such a great character. She was very genuine and was willing to do anything to make sure her family would survive. She is very naïve and this just adds to the drama in the book. I also love the time setting this book was set in and how the author made the book seem like it was happening as I was reading it. Eva Ibbotson has a series of books similar to this one and I really like them all! I would definitely recommend this series to someone who likes reading romance and historical fiction.
